Job Description: As an Assistant Store Leader at GlideXpress Car Wash, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our store and assisting the Store Leader in achieving sales targets, delivering outstanding customer service and helping foster a supportive atmosphere. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with computer skills and sales knowledge to advance their careers, as we frequently promote from within our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist the Store Leader in driving sales and achieving revenue targets by providing exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and promoting our products and services.
  • Team Leadership: Support the Store Leader in managing and motivating a team of retail associates, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating replenishment orders to meet customer demand and minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Operational Excellence: Help ensure smooth store operations by overseeing daily tasks such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, address inquiries and concerns, and build lasting relationships to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, with demonstrated knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for coaching and developing team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
