Job Description

Since 1978, ACS Technologies (“ACST”) has served the faith-based community, building software to help ministries lead with less stress and more accuracy. ACST enables churches to handle every vital area of their ministry from finances to relationships. We're now the leader in the industry but we've got more work to do, and we need the right talent on board to help with our mission of serving churches with tomorrow's technology.

The Director, Marketing (DM) is responsible for marketing ACST solutions and services to existing and potential clients. The DM serves as the single decision-maker for Marketing and oversees Marketing, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develops and executes a marketing strategy that aligns with the ACST mission, vision, and values and is tailored to reach and engage our target audience segments

  • Develops and oversees a content distribution strategy that maximizes reach and engagement with the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars, to engage and educate purchasing decisions with the target audience

  • Oversees Product Marketing with solution positioning and messaging to ensure alignment with ACST values and resonate with the target audience

  • Drives lead generation efforts through various marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, tradeshow, and partner enablement; Implements and maintains strategies to nurture leads and guide them through the buyer journey to conversion.

  • Oversees digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing; Monitors, analyzes, and reports on the marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.

  • Regularly conducts market research to define target addressable market (TAM), and target reachable market (TRM), identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and ministry partner insights; Leverage insights to make data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies and decision-making processes.

  • Leads and inspires a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, business development, product, ministry success, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.

  • Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree a plus) with 10 years in marketing roles, preferably in technology or SaaS, with 5-7 years in a leadership/people leader role.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
