Join our dynamic team as a vital telecommunications operator - recruit, where you will be trained to play a key role in ensuring public safety and efficient emergency response. In this critical position, you'll be trained to manage a radio, telephone, and computer equipment to field both emergency and non-emergency calls. You will be at the heart of our operations, acting as the first point of contact for the public to report crimes, disturbances, fires, and medical emergencies. After receiving adequate training your role will involve accurately relaying crucial information to law enforcement and emergency response teams, helping to save lives and maintain community security. Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain NCIC certification
- Ability to be licensed as a Basic Telecommunications Operator by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within one year of hire.
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Ability to work shift work
