Azusa Pacific University (APU) invites nominations and applicationsfor the position of Dean of the School of Behavioral and AppliedSciences.

Founded in 1899, Azusa Pacific is one of the largest Christianuniversities on the West Coast and a flagship institution withinthe Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. APU is avibrant and diverse community committed to academic excellence,evidenced by its Carnegie classification as an R2 DoctoralUniversity - High Research Activity.

Today's world needs compassionate individuals dedicated to servingothers through the helping professions. The School of Behavioraland Applied Sciences equips students to meet this need and lead intheir fields, from athletic training and physical therapy to socialwork, psychology, and more.

With a total enrollment of 1610, the dean is responsible for theleadership, planning, direction, and management of the full rangeof undergraduate and graduate, clinical and non-clinical programsoffered by the School. The Dean will collaboratively and creativelyadvance the scholarship, research, integration of faith andlearning for a dynamic learning community with strong enrollment.APU seeks a leader who understands the breadth and complexity ofbehavioral and applied sciences, accreditation and licensure,diverse student populations, and current trends with a successfulhistory of leading in a complex environment.
