Position Summary:

The Enterprise Partner Solutions Team has an opening for an Engineering Sr Analyst. This agile team manages the technology platform which is used by our stakeholders serving the Securian channel partners through onboarding and licensing as well as paying partner compensation.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Perform analysis, design, development, and integration on medium to high level complexity assignments.

Efficiently integrate third-party systems and data with internal systems and data repositories.

Respond to user questions, requests, and issues in a support role.

Collaborate with team members to peer review deliverables and maintain team quality/standards.

Grow and maintain positive relationships across enterprise technical, architectural, infrastructural, and data teams to facilitate problem resolution, knowledge sharing, and common purpose.

Design and develop new technology solutions addressing business needs by partnering with business stakeholders, team members, architects, and other technical partners.

Document technical processes and decisions to assist with maintenance activities and ongoing knowledge sharing.

Technologies used on the team include, but not limited to:

Java

Spring Batch

JavaScript, Groovy

Spring Framework

REST web services

Spring MVC

Structured Query Language (SQL)

Informatica

Java testing frameworks, Junit & Mockito

Postman

Jira

GitHub

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in computer science, technology, MIS or equivalent experience.

2-5+ years software development experience with Java or other similar programming languages.

Self-motivated and independent.

Creative problem-solving skills.

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with SAP Products, Workflow, APM Enterprise and ALM a plus.

**This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement.**

Physical job requirements:

Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day

Ability to work at least 40 hours per week

Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day

Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)
