Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable Technology Senior Engineering Manager to directly impact a mission-driven, high performing team that is changing the future of our Finance and Accounting technology. In this people leader role, you will be responsible for the driving best in class associate career development, safe and secure platform delivery, advancing the agile transformation, building strategic partnerships with our customers, managing the platform budget as well as leading additional strategic initiatives as needed. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  •   Leads effective teams of engineering and product professionals responsible for supporting the acquisition, implementation, and ongoing development/configuration of Financial and Treasury Technology platforms.  Team leadership accountabilities include staffing, motivating, developing, and managing performance of team members. 
  •   Serves a Platform Owner over our SAP Ecosystem which includes SAP S4 HANA, Ariba and Concur.
  •   Drives delivery and support efficiencies through coordination of internal talent, managed service partner engagement and other vendor relationships.
  •   Ensures the creation and ongoing improvement of team processes and procedures, including agile transformation, platform/application requests and incident management and stakeholder management.
  •   Builds and leverages relationships with internal partners including Enterprise Architecture, ET Quality Assurance, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Vendor Management and Portfolio Management to drive efficiency, transparency and support flow across our teams
  •   Evaluate technology options and promote solutions that align with operating principles
  •   Supports the self-organization of the team through partnership with the Technical Product Owner and Scrum Master
  •   Partners with Product Owner to contribution to platform strategy and roadmap
  •   Serves as engineering leader point of contact for driving ET and business lead strategic initiatives
  •   Serves as budget process owner for platform financials
  •   Awareness of current industry trends and new technologies; desire and willingness to continuously improve those skills and knowledge through internal and external continuous learning

    Qualifications:

  •   High energy and a passion for harmonizing people and systems
  •   Resiliency to lead a team and deliver results in a high-volume, fast paced, and feedback driven environment
  •   Expert communication skills, with an affinity for cross-functional collaboration and the important role it plays in success
  •   Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud best practices
  •   Strong relationship management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and leading others through change
  •   Creative problem solving
  •   Results oriented mindset
  •   Knowledge of methodologies for strategic planning, project management, and systems development in an agile environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

  •   SAP S4 HANA Experience
  •   Experience managing cross functional team including offshore resources

    **This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement.**

    Physical job requirements:

  •   Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day
  •   Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  •   Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day
  •   Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)
