We are the largest onsite event company in the life science industry in North America, www.ScientistSolutionsEvents.com. Our Events division is part of a technology organization to disrupt and improve the sales process in our industry, helping researchers find the best products the first time for their experiments. We do this through tabletop product shows, eliminating the need for reps to cold call labs. We bring the technology directly to the researchers, a vast improvement over national conventions with hundreds of exhibitors.
We are seeking entrepreneurial and other motivated part time independent contractors to expand a base of existing business and/or help with building and launching events. This is a ground floor opportunity to get involved with a company soon to bring a new and exciting e-commerce platform to the industry, connecting our hundreds of suppliers with our hundreds of institutions and implementing tools that will automate how researchers search for and select products. The platform will utilize our patented business process.

We are looking for people who have rich lives and do not want a conventional job, but want to make a difference and work 5 - 20 hours a week (or more). We can customize a position for you. For those desiring to do onsite events for a particular state or region in the country you will handle all aspects of event coordination between biotech supplier sales reps and the scientific institutions they sell their products into. You will work both from home and up to five days per month onsite at research or biotech institutions.
Job Description (Assistant Territory Manager)
As an Assistant Territory Manager, you will be part of a select team focused on expanding and servicing our relationships in the life science community. You will be responsible for sales, promotion and coordination of events to pharmaceutical, biotech and academic research institutions in your region of the United States (typically within a 50-500 mile radius).
* Work both from home and onsite on event days as the primary “go to” person scheduling, promoting and coordinating all aspects of events;
* Sales and marketing both individually and as part of a team to book events and secure new accounts;
* Maintain strong relationships and provide customer service to both the key contacts within the institutions and your region’s supplier sales reps;
* Utilize innovative marketing strategies and techniques to ensure high turnout;
We have a support team that helps with many aspects of creating and running successful events from marketing to billing to data management.

Job Description (Event Management):
We are seeking people with CVent or other Software Management knowledge skilled at navigating software to build and launch our events. Most already reside within CVent.
We annually organize several hundred events throughout the U.S. and you will be supporting our managers in the field from building and launching new events and series of events (with existing institutions or creating new accounts) to registering clients, building marketing pieces
processing payment transactions.
