Securian Financial is seeking a qualified Executive Administrative Assistant for our corporate headquarters location in downtown Saint Paul. Working in our Affinity Solutions market line, the Executive Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Chief Revenue Officer, 2nd Vice President, and their teams. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is a self-starter and enjoys working independently. They will also have a great peer group that will be able to provide support and knowledge along the way.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Calendar management
  • Email inbox management
  • Expense reporting
  • Meeting organization, preparation and support
  • Travel management
  • Record retention and management
  • Assist with presentation and event preparation
  • Provide backup support as needed

    In addition to those responsibilities, this role provides the individual the unique opportunity to play a role in other projects and initiatives that may be of interest and to help with their professional development.


  • 1+ year of experience with MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of high quality, effective administrative support experience
  • Experience supporting executives and/or senior leaders
  • Experience with external clients & distribution partners
  • Experience in the financial services/insurance industry

    Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Ability to utilize telephone for up to 2-4 hours per day
