The Basics of a Branch Associate II role:
- Weekly schedules will be set between the hours of 8:45-5:15p M-F
- Rotating Saturday hours from 8:45-1:30p.
What you'll do as a Branch Associate II:
In the Branch Associate II role, you will serve as a leader in your branch, increasing your professional expertise in consumer and business products and services, and managing more complex scenarios. You will work to create a top-tier experience for our members and proactively assist with their financial services needs by opening accounts, submitting loan applications, problem-solving member issues, building relationships, and educating members on additional products and services to improve their financial lives.

- Create and maintain a Top-Tier experience for members in the branch, drive-thru, and over the phone.
- Educate and engage members on financial products and services using a needs-based approach.
- Open new accounts and products including savings, checking, debit cards, money market, CDs, IRAs, HSAs, and other specialty deposit and loan accounts for both consumer and business members.
- Problem-solve member issues of a moderate nature utilizing good, individual judgment through various communication channels including in-branch, phone, email, etc.
- Listen to and leverage cues from members to evaluate and determine needs for additional products and services; make referrals to product experts (Ex. Financial Advisors and third-party partners).
- Assist in training new team members, provide overrides as needed, and vault management as needed.
- Lead and process opening and end-of-day procedures for the branch.
- Actively participate in business development and volunteer events to expand Credit Union reach.
- Obtain and act as a Notary Public.
- Actively participate in volunteer events through our Greater Good program.
Qualifications
Must Haves for the Branch Associate II Role:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a New Accounts/Member Service role or equivalent experience.
- High willingness to learn and be a self-starter.
- Outgoing, personable, and a team player.
- Great communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- HS Diploma or GED.
Nice to Haves for the Branch Associate II Role:
- Cross-selling experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
