OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a top-notch, fun and dynamic person to join our team as a full time meeting & incentive trip planner. MFactor Meetings & Events, one of the Bay Area’s premier meeting and incentive companies, has an opening for a passionate planner, who is energetic, positive and enjoys creating memorable, engaging programs for our clients.  You must have experience working with both clients and suppliers (such as hotels, DMCs and other industry vendors & suppliers). This is a full-time position that requires both domestic and international travel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  •         Serve as principal liaison between client and suppliers during planning process
  •         Negotiate with facilities and suppliers for services, in accordance with budget parameters          and client expectations
  •         Contribute to the design of engaging agendas and event components (General Sessions,            breakouts, evening events, attendee gifts, offsite activities, mailers, F&B, etc.)
  •         Create & manage project timelines, planning documents, agendas & specifications
  •         Execute strict budget management during planning, execution & post event reconciliation
  •         Effectively communicate all program needs to internal & external stakeholders
  •         Provide timely & effective client communication
  •         Deliver effective onsite leadership to ensure quality execution of all event components

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

  •         3+ years related experience
  •         College degree required
  •         Meeting / Conference experience preferred
  •         Thrives in a collaborative environment
  •         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and industry-related software
  •         Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  •         Bonus points for VIRTUAL meeting planning experience
  •         Prefer applicants located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but open to remote option for the          right candidate
  •         Loves to travel to fun and exciting destinations
