Scheduling & Fellows Engagement Manager

MacDowell, America’s first multidisciplinary artists residency program, seeks an experienced Scheduling & Fellows Engagement Manager (SFEM) for a full-time position (40 hrs/wk) in its Peterborough office. As part of our busy three-person Admissions Department, the SFEM partners with the Admissions Director (AD) to provide direct support to incoming artists-in-residence.

Twice annually, the SFEM creates a complex, comprehensive residency calendar, matching ~100 accepted artists each season with optimal placements in 31 studios & living spaces. The SFEM: communicates with artists to understand their work & accessibility needs, maintains the residency waitlist, manages scheduling changes, administers the stipends & travel grants program, & works with the AD to strategically expand outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with excellent project management skills; be a warm & effective communicator who can handle time-sensitive & confidential information; have a strong alignment with MacDowell’s diversity, equity, inclusion, & access goals; & be comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, & video conferencing technology. 5+ years of prof. non-profit experience & appreciation for the arts are major plusses.

Compensation

$52-65k/year; FT, exempt, some remote work flexibility; health & dental; life & short-term
