Security Account Manager/Lead, $18.50-$23.28/hour

Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of guard force and any auxiliary security programming of assigned account as dictated by contractual obligations, to ensure the highest level of service deliverables by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned by Director of Operations and/or client):

• Leads and maintains daily communication with the client and other stakeholders. To include organizing and leading weekly/monthly partnership meetings to discuss current progress and/or lead strategy discussion on future planning or process improvement. Responds immediately to client needs and communications.

• Maintains daily communication with the Director of Operations and Area Manager, to include daily logs from all security personnel at all posts. Effectively communicates with stakeholders from internal departments (human resources, recruiting, sales, operations, etc).

• Leads onsite training programming required by the State of Minnesota, American Security & Investigations and contractual commitments, in conjunction with Branch resources. Implements an onsite training plan in conjunction with onsite client stakeholders.

• Leads onsite safety/risk management programming required by the State of Minnesota, American Security & Investigations and contractual commitments, in conjunction with Branch resources. Leads onsite team in reporting irregularities and safety hazards to appropriate client and/or external personnel. Safeguards company and client property, to include client vehicles. Documenting weekly/monthly safety audits using metrics developed by internal and client resources.

• Leads onsite personnel development (mentoring); to include communication standards and expectations, interpreting statement of work/post orders/procedures, ensuring that all company policies are properly performed and followed, maintaining high standards of honesty and personal conduct (as well as personal appearance and professional behavior), managing work performance of all associates (through praise/recognition, documentation, progressive discipline, verbal warnings, written warnings, coaching, retraining, suspensions and terminations).

• Effectively manages site schedule, to include overtime and payroll administration. Is a stakeholder in the account P&L/financial performance along with the Director of Operations, working in tandem towards account profitability and longevity.

• Understands that the duties and responsibilities of this position may require working in excess of the scheduled hours.

• Complete continuing education on industry trends, investigations, unemployment hearings, harassment prevention, goal setting/performance management, progressive discipline/documentation, second interview skills class, management, computer skills, budgeting and American Security & Investigations, L.L.C. spectrum of services

Requirements: 

  • You must be 18 years old 
  • For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English proficiently 
  • A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required. 
  • Prior security and leadership experience is required
