Sr. Creative Operations Manager (Hybrid)
Our client is looking for an outstanding Sr. Creative Operations Manager to join their growing Creative Team based in Chicago, IL.In this role, you will report to the VP of Creative and own the planning, resourcing, production and distribution frameworks for creative assets to launch products and marketing campaigns supporting the brand.The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can build trust with internal customers (e.g.
senior leadership and stakeholders) through consistent, on-time delivery of quality bar-raising work and feedback loops to evolve cross-functional ways of work and continuously improve process.This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities:Partner with VP Creative, Marketing and Sales teams to drive alignment on work execution priorities.Create project roadmaps and production strategies to deliver on organizational and business objectives.Proactively and effectively assess and communicate priorities, risks and present tradeoffs, escalating appropriately to ensure on-time delivery and raise the bar on quality, within bandwidth of resources.Own planning, development and execution framework for content and marketing campaigns (annually, quarterly.
)Partner with all relevant internal stakeholders to define project scope and key objectives.Manage asset production workflow tools, milestones and meetings with senior leaders and stakeholder partners.Define and continually improve content planning and production frameworks, pipeline process, workflow tools and SOPs.Educate and hold all partners accountable to defined ways of working.Act as a trusted leader and advisor to internal stakeholders, continually improving communication and work output.Own, manage and report on creative budgets; forecast and evolve according to production strategy in partnership with Marketing and Finance teams.Hire and onboard external contractor resources and/or agencies; continuously monitor work output and quality, recommending changes to raise the bar.Partner with internal stakeholders to own and coordinate holistic vendor resource planning, improving spend efficiency quarterly and annually.Manage workflow for creative asset development, production, delivery and legal compliance across all marketing channels.Manage still photography and video production to meet efficiency goals; onboard new partners and negotiate costs.Complete and/or delegate administrative tasks as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field8+ years of account and/or brand management experience in an agency or marketing department setting (retail/e-commerce or CPG experience preferred)2+ years managing direct reports; proven ability to motivate and/or mentor team members, fostering a positive team environment and cultureExperience defining and executing net-new frameworks for integrated brand efforts, development cycles, process, and best practicesExpert communication skills with ability to clearly document and educate on process across various audiences (e.g.
team, partners, leadership, etc. )Self-motivated mentality with a proven track record of ownership, team responsibility and accountabilityProven ability to think and perform both strategically and tacticallyEntrepreneurial spirit with proactive approach to identifying and acting on ways to improveAstute attention-to-detail and meticulous organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suite (Hive or other project management software preferred.
