The Team: Inclusive Financial Systems The Inclusive Financial Systems (IFS) team believes that valuable, low-cost financial products have the potential to offer a pathway out of poverty, and that digital financial systems can enable the private sector's delivery of such products to the poor sustainably and at scale. IFS supports the buildout of inclusive digital financial services (DFS) systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by (i) enabling the right policy and regulatory environment, (ii) supporting the implementation of inclusive instant payments systems, (iii) driving scale and economic sustainability by promoting pro-poor use cases; and (iv) closing the gender gap in the usage of formal financial products.
Position Summary While financial service providers ensure the last-mile delivery of financial services, their ability to serve unbanked population segments hinge on whether policymakers, regulators, and commercial providers adopt evidence-based interventions which have been proven to expand the poor's access to digital financial tools. The Deputy Director, Regulation, Policy &amp; Research will lead a team which seeks to (1) support regulators in LMICs to develop inclusive financial regulations; (2) protect DFS consumers by equipping supervisors with policy guidance and technology tools which enable them to mitigate consumer risks; (3) support regulators in expanding healthy access to productive credit markets; 4) generate evidence which informs decision-makers in LMICs; and 5) ensure the IFS strategy and programming reflects the latest research and data.

What You'll Do
<li>Serve on the IFS Leadership Team and Investment Committee, informing overall IFS team strategy and grant making.</li>
<li>Manage and cultivate a cohesive, high-impact team which leads the IFS team's Regulations, RegTech &amp; Consumer Protection, Research &amp; Measurement, and Strategic Partnerships portfolios.</li>
<li>Lead the development, implementation, and refinement of these IFS team strategies.</li>
<li>Cultivate a high-impact grant portfolio and partner ecosystem to advance the IFS team strategy, with a strong focus on regional partners in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. </li>
<li>Represent the foundation to external constituencies. This could include formal and informal presentations, attending conferences, sitting on working groups, and holding board seats as appropriate.</li>
<li>Write and produce briefings, reports, email updates, and other materials to inform foundation leadership.</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact on IFS issues for internal and external collaborators, working within the complex matrix-style organization across the foundation.</li>
<li>Conceptualize and manage high impact partnerships and coalitions to advance the IFS team agenda.</li>

<li>Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Your Experience We are looking for a recognized global professional with deep expertise in policy and regulation (ex. Country Central Bank) of financial markets in low- and middle-income countries. Additional knowledge and skills include:
</li>
<li>Understanding of the key issues driving the growth of financial inclusion, as well as barriers impeding progress. </li>
<li>Understanding of financial and data regulation and supervision, ideally including experience regulating and supervising financial institutions in LMICs or engaging directly with financial regulators and policymakers in LMICs. </li>
<li>Understanding of supply side and demand side barriers and opportunities for women's financial inclusion.</li>
<li>Experience interpreting academic evidence and translating that evidence to inform financial inclusion policy.</li>
<li>Understanding how credit markets work, and the policies and regulations which can foster healthy access to productive credit. </li>
<li>Understanding the technologies and policies needed to support data regulation.</li>
<li>Understanding of key financial consumer protection issues faced by LMIC consumers</li>

The salary range for this role is $229,100 to $355,200 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences where our offices are located, in Seattle, WA &amp; Washington D.C. The range for this role in these locations is $249,600 to $386,900 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.

Position Purpose:

Key Contributions:
Property Appearance/Upkeep: Keep the property in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition. Daily exterior and interior inspections of the community to assure.   Cross utilization of Groundkeeper duties may be required.
Appliance Maintenance: Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor failures to air conditioning and heating units.  Repair minor electrical and plumbing problems.
Make Ready:  Responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance to company standards.  Some painting may be required.
Laundry room: Maintain laundry rooms to guidelines of the company.
Pool Maintenance (if applicable): Completion of daily chemical inspections, maintenance and cleaning to meet city codes and company standards.

The ideal candidate will reside within the California Central Valley/Las Vegas area.        The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing the Microbiology, Immunoassay, Molecular and Vision Suite customer base. <li>Manage pipeline to ensure timing of closes matches Monthly Forecast &amp; Quarterly Business Plan.</li>
<li>Coordinate activity of other field sales personnel in context of business plan.</li>
<li>Monitor monthly sales as reported in Tableau for accuracy and adjust action plans to account for shortages towards goal achievement.</li>
<li>Deliver effective Sales Call Management, Opportunity Management, Pipeline Management and Forecast Accuracy</li>
</ul>
     Product and Technical Sales:     
<ul>
<li>Provide technical expertise/assistance in product line as required in sales process.</li>
<li>Support and/or deliver key sales presentations/demonstrations where required.</li>
<li>Communicate with customers on product line technical issues where required.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively in a matrix environment with Regional and US Product Specialists for all product franchises including Microbiology, Molecular, Immunoassay and Vision Suite.</li>
<li>Leverage timely and effective engagement of Product Specialists, Service, Marketing and other internal personnel to progress, advance and close Opportunities within Region.</li>
</ul>
     Relationship Management     
<ul>
<li>Develop relationships with key customers/opinion leaders within defined territory.</li>
<li>Identify and develop key opinion leaders/reference sites within defined region.</li>
<li>Establish relationships with these identified opinion leaders/reference accounts.</li>
<li>Leverage relationships to expand existing business within defined region.</li>
<li>Channel competitive information gathered in field to marketing and sales teams.</li>
<li>Implement and participate in pilot projects with new product launches.</li>
</ul>
     Administrative Responsibilities:     
<ul>
<li>Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Product Specialists and other supporting sales associates.</li>
<li>Submit expense reports on a weekly basis.</li>
<li>Maintain customer records in CRM on a daily basis for all accounts in their database.</li>
<li>Close all appointments with notes and update milestones on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Achieve minimum forecast accuracy for US dollars on a monthly basis performance expectations.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux Quality System.</li>
</ul>
     Training and Education:          
<ul>
<li>Associates degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience required; Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience preferred</li>
</ul>
     Experience:          
<ul>
<li>Capital and Reagent sales experience within clinical laboratory preferred</li>
<li>Proven and documented track record in exceeding territory Capital and Reagent goals</li>
<li>Proven and documented track record of consistent top finishes within sales team</li>
</ul>
     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:           
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of clinical lab operations preferred, not required.</li>
<li>Work in a matrix environment with Account Managers, Region Sales Directors, Product Specialists and other bioMérieux colleagues. Collaborate and coordinate in order to close business system wide.</li>
<li>Ability to describe and explain highly detailed technical information to multiple buying influences including laboratorians, C-Suite, physicians, stewardship teams, IT, and other buyers</li>
<li>Proficient in operation of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite of products</li>
<li>Formal sales competency training courses preferred (i.e. Miller Heiman, Strategic Selling, BASE)</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with key internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Excellent presentation skills. Adept at using multi-media presentation tools.</li>
<li>Proficient in CRM Salesforce preferred</li>
<li>Excellent selling, organization, communication, and presentation skills required.</li>
<li>Team player attitude: ability to build consensus among team members/collaborate with other team members</li>
